Celebrates Holi Festival with Akshay Patra

Udaipur: The Innerwheel Club of Divas, in association with Akshay Patra, celebrated the festival of Holi with great fervor, distributing gifts to children. Club President Naina Jain highlighted that all members of the club joined hands with Akshay Patra, the world's largest NGO in the food sector, to celebrate Holi with a spirit of camaraderie and distribute gifts. The event was inaugurated by Club Founder President Rekha Bhanawat.

As part of this initiative, all staff members of Akshay Patra were presented with shoulder bags, water bottles, cotton scarves for beating the summer heat, and sweets. During the event, club members visited Akshay Patra's state-of-the-art centralized kitchen and observed the food preparation process. Abhinav Sen, the distribution officer of the Akshay Patra School Management Department, provided detailed information about various equipment, including a roti-making machine worth 40,000 rupees, 500-liter and 1200-liter pressure cookers, a steam boiler plant, waste management biogas plant, bakery kitchen, and sterilizing machinery. Sen explained that the organization's goal is to provide hygienic, nutritious, high-quality warm meals to children in government schools, ensuring purity, cleanliness, and timely delivery.

The event concluded with participants applying colors to each other, extending Holi festival greetings. A cake was cut, sweets were distributed, and light refreshments were enjoyed by all. The management team including Manager Pallav Lodha, Quality Officer Gajendra Singh, Distribution Officer Manish Sanadhya, Pushpendra Singh, and staff from all departments were present during the celebration.
