District Collector Conducts Surprise Inspection of Sub-Registrar Office, Orders Physical Verification of Registrations

Bhilwara: District Collector Namit Mehta conducted a surprise inspection of the Sub-Registrar office on Wednesday. During the inspection, he issued specific instructions for personnel to arrive at the office on time and to conduct special campaigns to collect overdue revenues.

During the visit, the District Collector instructed Sub-Registrar Mohan Lal Regar to ensure that the registration process is completed within the stipulated time, so that the public does not have to wait unnecessarily. Sub-Registrar Mohan Lal reported that the SR-I office has so far generated a revenue of Rs 6.51 crore and the SR-II office has earned Rs 4.57 crore in May.

The District Collector also directed random physical verification of registrations below Rs 50 lakh. He emphasized the need to achieve revenue collection targets and to launch special campaigns for the recovery of old dues.

**Proper Maintenance of Registration Documents**

The District Collector instructed Sub-Registrar Mohan Lal Regar to ensure the proper organization of documents, removal of old junk, and the cleaning and painting of rooms in the SR-I office.

He stressed that all registry-related cases received at the office should be processed through the e-registration portal. He also reviewed the registration process and provided directives for the transparent handling of files. During the inspection, the District Collector gathered information about the tasks assigned to the personnel and instructed them to perform their official duties with complete honesty.

He urged the prompt resolution of pending registration cases and emphasized that tasks for the general public should be completed immediately. Measures should be put in place to ensure that complainants do not have to make unnecessary visits to the office.
