####“Taking everyone along will be my top priority”—Raghuveer Singh Meena

Udaipur. Under the Congress Organisation Creation Campaign, newly appointed Udaipur Rural District Congress President Raghuveer Singh Meena formally assumed charge today. At 11:15 am, during an auspicious ceremony held at the Surajpol District Congress office, outgoing president Kachru Lal Chaudhary handed over responsibilities to Meena after a traditional prayer ritual.

Addressing the gathering, Meena said:
“This responsibility has been entrusted not just to me, but to every Congress worker. The top leadership has made it clear—once the party decides, everyone must sit together on one platform and work collectively.”

Reflecting on his political journey, Meena added:
“From serving as a sarpanch, to becoming MLA, Minister, State Youth Congress President, PCC Vice President, Member of Parliament, and later a member of the AICC’s highest committee, the CWC—each role has been a blessing. Now, being appointed District Congress President is another expression of trust. Our mission is to strengthen the organisation and defeat the BJP in the upcoming local body and panchayat elections.”

Former district president Kachru Lal Chaudhary emphasized unity, saying:
“The leadership has selected Raghuveer Singh Meena after collective consultation. It is now our duty to strengthen the Congress by working together.”

The ceremony saw participation from senior Congress leaders, former ministers, former MLAs, block presidents, Panchayat Samiti Pradhans, municipal chairpersons, and hundreds of party workers from Youth Congress, NSUI, Mahila Congress and Seva Dal.

The event was compered by Gajendra Kothari, while the vote of thanks was delivered by Laxminarayan Pandya.
