Udaipur,  As part of Hindi Fortnight celebrations, the West Zone Cultural Centre (WZCC), Udaipur, organized a series of competitions and a workshop on Hindi language at Bagore Ki Haveli on Friday.

According to Furqan Khan, Director, WZCC Udaipur, the Hindi Fortnight, which commenced on September 14, concluded with five distinct competitions held in the auditorium of Bagore Ki Haveli on September 26. These included quiz, Hindi writing, and correct word usage competitions for officials, and dictation and reading competitions for staff members.

All the contests were conducted under the guidance of Dr. Jayprakash Shakdwipiya, Hindi Language Specialist. The event’s chief guest, Shri Pawan Amarawat, Deputy Director (Programs), shared his experiences from years of service in Hindi and suggested ways to further strengthen the language in official and cultural usage.

During the closing ceremony, Shri Durgesh Chandwani, Assistant Director (Finance & Accounts), addressed the gathering with insights on the importance of Hindi Fortnight and its role in promoting Rajbhasha. The event also witnessed the presence of Executive Engineer C.L. Salvi, Program Executive Hemant Mehta, and Rakesh Mehta.
