Udaipur – Geetanjali Dental College & Hospital, Udaipur, organized the grand ‘Srijan 2025’ Orientation Day for the 12th batch of BDS students with great enthusiasm and dignity. The event commenced with the traditional lamp-lighting ceremony and invocation, setting a serene and auspicious tone for the program.
Principal Dr. Balaji Manohar welcomed the students and parents, introducing them to the institution’s rules, academic discipline, anti-ragging policies, and strong educational values. He emphasized that the college aims not only to create skilled doctors but also responsible citizens enriched with ethical values.
During the session, Mr. Ankit Agarwal, Executive Director of Geetanjali Group, delivered an inspiring address. He highlighted the remarkable progress made by Geetanjali Dental & Research Institute (GDRI) since 2014. He shared the following key achievements:

More than 500 undergraduate and 30 postgraduate students have successfully graduated from GDRI and are serving across India and abroad.

The institute is moving rapidly towards integrating digital dentistry, AI-based diagnosis, CAD/CAM systems, and 3D printing technologies into its academic framework.

The Geetanjali campus now boasts smart classrooms, a fully developed outdoor stadium, and a soon-to-be-completed indoor stadium, contributing to the holistic growth of students.

He assured parents that the college offers a safe, disciplined, eco-friendly, and student-centric environment.

He also introduced the Geetanjali Information System (ERP), which enables parents to track their ward’s attendance, performance, activities, and feedback in real time.
Mr. Agarwal encouraged students to remain curious, humble, and dedicated in their journey and extended his best wishes for their bright future.
Cultural Performances & White Coat Ceremony
The cultural segment featured vibrant dance and music performances by students, adding joy and liveliness to the occasion.
Following this, the White Coat Ceremony was held, during which the Principal, Vice Principal, and all Heads of Departments ceremonially adorned the new students with white coats, marking their formal induction into the esteemed profession of dentistry.
The event concluded with a vote of thanks by Additional Principal Dr. Namit Nagar, who expressed gratitude to all dignitaries, faculty members, parents, and new students. He noted that such programs instill confidence and motivation in students as they embark on a significant new chapter of their academic journey.
The program ended on a note of positivity, inspiration, and warm wishes for the bright future of all the new BDS students.
