Udaipur. On the auspicious occasion of Navratri, while Dandiya Raas events are being held across the city, the Uday Archgate Graceful Ladies Group organized Mata Ki Chowki at Uday Archgate Society near Sukhadia Circle to introduce the young generation to the true spirit of the festival.

Poonam Jain from the society informed that residents of all age groups—women, men, elders, and children—actively participated in the devotional evening. Singer Anand and his Bhajan Mandali presented soulful hymns including “Meri Jhooli Chhoti Pad Gayi Re, Itna Diya Meri Mata”, “Sabse Bada Tero Naam O Sherowali”, and “Meri Maa Ke Barabar Koi Nahi”. The audience responded with resounding chants of “Jai Mata Di”.

Residents, especially the youth, also offered their own devotional presentations. The unique setting on the society’s terrace made the evening even more special—on one side, the illuminated Neemach Mata temple on the hill shone brightly, while on the other, bhajan recitals created an aura of devotion.

The program concluded late at night with the collective Mata Ki Aarti and distribution of prasad among the devotees. Following this event, Garba Raas has been scheduled for two consecutive days at the Uday Archgate premises.

Members of the Graceful Ladies Group including Kirti, Sandhya, Shano, Alka, Kavita, Radhika, and Anita were prominently present during the celebrations.
