In the run-up to the upcoming Panchayat and Municipal elections in Rajasthan, the state Congress is formulating a significant strategy, with its details expected to be revealed by the end of August. The focus is on strengthening the party’s organizational structure, especially in the newly created districts.

According to party sources, the Rajasthan Pradesh Congress Committee is working on appointing district presidents for the ten newly formed districts. The All India Congress Committee (AICC) is likely to take a final decision on the proposed names by the end of this month.

Responsibility to be Given to Fresh Faces in 15 Districts
While the Congress has nearly completed filling lower-level organizational posts, preparations are also underway to replace presidents in several existing districts, apart from appointing heads for the new ones. In total, around 15 districts — including both newly created and existing ones — could see new leadership entrusted to fresh faces.

The move is seen as part of a broader effort to energize the party cadre, ensure better grassroots connect, and gear up for a strong electoral performance in the upcoming local body elections.
