Udaipur, September 5. Shri Eklingnath National Seva Sangthan inaugurated its Gogunda branch on Friday in a grand ceremony, marking the establishment of its first center in rural areas. Under the “Nari Vaibhav” initiative, over 450 women from the region will receive training in tailoring and beauty parlour skills to become self-reliant.


Founder-President Akash Bagdi informed that after Udaipur and Jodhpur, Gogunda is the Sangthan’s third branch. The inauguration was carried out by MLA Pratap Gameti along with National General Secretary Advocate Nirmal Kumar Pandit, BJP Mandal President Nikhil Kumar, BJP Mandal General Secretary Suresh Soni, and Cooperative Committee President Rameshwar Choudhary.

Speaking on the occasion, MLA Gameti praised the initiative, highlighting the urgent need for employment opportunities for women in rural areas. He emphasized that while government schemes exist, private Sangthans like Shri Eklingnath National Seva Sangthan play a vital role in creating impactful change. Advocate Nirmal Kumar Pandit also shared insights into the Sangthan’s ongoing activities.

Bagdi further informed that space for the Gogunda branch has been provided by the Gram Seva Cooperative Society. He noted the strong enthusiasm among rural women for learning and assured that the Sangthan will expand its reach to other regions as well. He also announced that a new cowshed will soon be established in Kaya near the city, to shelter stray cattle left abandoned on roads.

The ceremony was anchored by Mukesh Paliwal. Prominent attendees included District President Manju Khinchi, Suresh Teli, Gangaram, Gogunda Block President Sunita Prajapat, District General Secretary Meena Yadav, and District Joint Secretary Chanchal Odichya.
