Udaipur, Under the directives of the Ministry of Culture (Government of India), the West Zone Cultural Centre (WZCC), Udaipur is organizing a painting competition for professional artists on the theme “Developed India in Colours of Art” at Shilpgram on Saturday at 9 AM.

WZCC Director Furkan Khan informed that as part of Seva Parv 2025, the painting competitions on the theme of Developed India are being held nationwide. Continuing this initiative, artists above the age of 30 can participate in tomorrow’s professional-level competition at Shilpgram.

On Friday, a student-level painting competition was held at Vidya Bhawan Senior Secondary School, Fatehpura, where participants creatively depicted their vision of a developed India through vibrant artworks.

The event’s Chief Guest was Dr. R. L. Suman, Superintendent, Maharana Bhupal Hospital, Udaipur. Also present were Durgesh Chandwani (Assistant Director, Finance & Accounts, WZCC), Hemant Mehta (Programme Executive), and Principal Pushpendra Singh Ranawat.

As part of the same series, painting competitions will also be held on September 27 at Shilpgram for professional artists and at Meera Girls’ College for students.
