Udaipur – On Monday, Ashtami Poojan and night-long jagaran were organized at Kalkamata Temple in Ganesh Nagar, Udaipur. The temple priest Devendra Gaur stated that Mataji was adorned in a special ceremonial decoration. Devotees thronged the temple from morning till late night, offering prayers and participating in devotional songs sung by the members of the women’s group.
The first aarti took place at 7:00 PM, the second aarti at 11:30 PM, and Mataji’s final aarti at 12:15 AM, during which devotees received her blessings. Langar and prasad arrangements were provided throughout the night for the attending devotees.
Jwara Visarjan on Tuesday
Spokesperson K.K. Kumawat informed that on Tuesday at 9:00 AM, a procession (shobhayatra) with traditional music will move towards Gangu Kund at the fourth pylon of Ganga in AYD, where the ceremonial Jwara Visarjan will take place. A large number of devotees are expected to participate. Along the route, prasad, water, milk, rose petals, ice cream, and fruits will be distributed to the devotees.
The event was also attended by MLA Tara Chandra, who joined the devotees in offering prayers and blessings.
