Udaipur,  On the auspicious occasion of Durga Ashtami, Narayan Seva Sansthan organized a devotional program at its Seva Mahatirth campus in Lyon ka Guda. The event witnessed traditional worship of Goddess Mahagauri along with all nine forms of Maa Durga. A special highlight was the kanya poojan of 101 differently-abled girls, where prayers were offered for their bright and prosperous future.

The ceremony began with a grand aarti dedicated to the nine forms of the Goddess, followed by the worship of the girls by chief guest Latika Paliwal, SDM of Badgaon, founder Kailash ‘Manav’, special guest Vijaylaxmi Paliwal, and director Vandana Agrawal. The girls were presented with gifts and served festive offerings including halwa, puri, kheer, and chana. Narayan Seva Sansthan also extended free corrective surgeries for the differently-abled girls during Navratri.

Speaking on the occasion, chief guest Latika Paliwal said, “Navratri is not just about fasting and rituals, but also about self-reflection, service, and connecting with nature. The work Narayan Seva Sansthan is doing to bring self-reliance and dignity into the lives of differently-abled individuals is truly inspirational.”

Director Vandana Agrawal shared that the institution has been performing kanya poojan for the last 21 years, providing medical care, education, training, and rehabilitation for differently-abled girls. The event was attended by PRO Bhagwan Prasad Gaur, Vishnu Sharma Hiteshi, Kuldeep Singh Shekhawat, and Mahim Jain.
