Udaipur, The All India Congress Committee (AICC) has appointed 30 observers across Rajasthan to oversee the selection of new district presidents under the ongoing “Sangathan Srijan Abhiyan” (Organisation Creation Campaign). This campaign, already active in several states, has now been launched in Rajasthan from October 4.
According to Dr. Sanjeev Rajpurohit, spokesperson of the Udaipur Dehat District Congress, the AICC has approved the appointment of 30 observers for 50 organizational districts in Rajasthan. To assist each of these observers, the Pradesh Congress Committee (PCC) has appointed three additional observers with AICC approval.
For Udaipur City and Udaipur Rural District Congress Committees, former Maharashtra Minister Smt. Yashomati Thakur has been appointed as the AICC Observer. She will be assisted by Chetan Dudi (former MLA), Abhishek Choudhary (former NSUI President), and Govind Danga (PCC Secretary).
Beginning October 6, these observers will conduct meetings and one-on-one interactions across all assembly segments under both committees — one in Udaipur City and six in Udaipur Rural (Kherwara, Jhadol, Udaipur Rural, Gogunda, Mavli, and Vallabhnagar).
On October 6, the observers will interact with leaders from Udaipur City at 10:00 AM and from Udaipur Rural at 11:00 AM, followed by a press conference at 12:30 PM. Later, they will attend meetings organized by the Udaipur Dehat District Congress Committee at 3:30 PM and the Udaipur City District Congress Committee at 4:30 PM. The meetings will include district and state office-bearers, senior leaders, MLAs and former MLAs, former MPs, candidates, heads of frontal organizations, departments, cells, and senior panchayat representatives. At 6:00 PM, one-on-one discussions with senior leaders from both city and rural committees will take place.
The following schedule has been released:
October 7: 10:00 AM – Udaipur City ‘A’ Block Congress Committee meeting; 11:00 AM – ‘B’ Block meeting.
Afternoon – meetings at Rishabhdev (Kherwara constituency) at 3:00 PM and Kherwara Block at 5:00 PM.
October 8: 10:00 AM – Badgaon Block (Gogunda constituency); 12:00 PM – Gogunda Block meeting; 2:00 PM – Kotda Block (Jhadol constituency); 5:00 PM – Jhadol Block meeting.
October 9: 10:00 AM – Mavli Block; 11:00 AM – Khemli Block; 2:00 PM – Vallabhnagar Block; 4:00 PM – Bhinder Block.
October 10: 10:00 AM – Girwa Block; 11:00 AM – Hiranmagri Block (Udaipur Rural constituency); 12:00 PM – interaction with civil society representatives; 1:00 PM – interaction with social community groups and NGO representatives.
During these meetings and interactions, the observers will gather detailed feedback from all stakeholders to aid in the selection of the new district presidents for both Udaipur City and Udaipur Rural District Congress Committees.
