Udaipur,  The Chitragupt Sabha celebrated its Foundation Day and organized an awards ceremony at the Sabha Bhavan on 13 October 2025. The event honored 79 distinguished members of the community for their contributions in various fields.

The Chief Guest, Prof. N.D. Mathur, Vice-Chancellor of Vivekananda Global University, Jaipur, emphasized in his address that the elders of the society form its foundation and it is important to learn from them. He highlighted that education is a fundamental right and the future of India depends on it. Prof. Mathur also said that the Mathur community is not merely an organization but a philosophy that defines identity. Capability opens the first door by showcasing one’s inherent skills and talent, while knowledge opens the second door, guiding how to make the most of opportunities.

The Special Guest, Lalit Narayan Mathur, a leading entrepreneur, encouraged everyone to contribute toward the society’s growth and progress. Mrs. Chanchal Mathur, District Transport Inspector, also attended and motivated the students.

The Sabha President, Bhuvaneshwar Mathur, welcomed and felicitated all the dignitaries, highlighting the society’s remarkable contributions in education, arts, business, and social work. He appreciated the guidance of senior members and the support of philanthropists who provide financial assistance to economically weaker families and students, ensuring no one is deprived of education.

During the ceremony, 19 members aged over 75 were honored with the Amrit Award, 18 individuals were recognized for educational excellence, 15 for special skills and social contributions, 11 for service awards, 15 philanthropists for their support, and 1 received the Iconic Face Award.

Cultural performances were presented by Divyanshi, Divya, Kaustubhi, Dharmishta, and Bhuvi. More than 225 members of the society enjoyed a communal lunch.

The vote of thanks was delivered by Chief Secretary Dinesh Mathur, and the program was conducted by Rajkumar Mathur and Moomal Mathur.
