Udaipur — The Tourism Department of Rajasthan and the Hotel Federation of Rajasthan have formally signed an MoU in Jaipur to organise a Travel Mart in Kota (Hadoti region). Udaipur Division President of the Hotel Federation, Rakesh Chaudhary, informed that the event will take place from January 2 to 4, with the primary objective of promoting major tourist destinations of the Hadoti region at the national level.

Tour operators from across the country will be invited to explore the key attractions of the Hadoti division. The initiative aims to help operators expand visibility through their networks and contribute to increasing the footfall of tourists in the region.

Tourism Commissioner Rukmani Riar stated that the government is continuously working toward enhancing tourism in Rajasthan. Similar travel marts will also be organised in Udaipur, Jodhpur, and other cities in the coming months.

Hotel Federation of Rajasthan President Hussain Khan and Kota Division President Ashok Maheshwari expressed gratitude to Chief Minister Bhajanlal Sharma and Tourism Minister Diya Kumari for approving the Travel Mart after considering the potential of the Hadoti sector and the suggestions submitted by the Federation.

Udaipur Division General Secretary Ambalal Sahu explained that the event is expected not only to boost tourist inflow but also significantly enhance employment opportunities and economic activities in the region.

The MoU signing ceremony was held at Hotel Gangaur, Jaipur, with around 150 members from the Tourism Department and the Hotel Federation of Rajasthan in attendance.
