Udaipur:In an important step towards humanitarian service and social responsibility, Anjuman Taleem-ul-Islam has constituted a new committee to manage the burial and related arrangements of unclaimed bodies and deceased persons in Udaipur city.


Providing details, Joint Secretary Architect Izhar Hussain stated that the initiative aims to ensure dignified last rites for unclaimed and destitute deceased persons, in accordance with humanitarian values, Islamic principles, and social responsibility. The newly formed committee was formally welcomed today under the chairmanship of President Mukhtar Qureshi.

On this occasion, members of the Anjuman highlighted that situations often arise in the city where the arrangements for unclaimed or abandoned deceased persons become difficult. In such circumstances, the committee will perform its duties with compassion and without any discrimination, ensuring timely and respectful handling of the deceased.

During the programme, committee members were welcomed with garlands, and the commencement of this noble service was marked with prayers. Speakers described the initiative as a commendable step for Udaipur, stating that it would help ensure dignity and respect for the needy and helpless at their final moment.

Office bearers of Anjuman Taleem-ul-Islam appealed to city residents to cooperate with the committee in this noble cause and to immediately inform the committee in case of any unclaimed deceased person, so that necessary arrangements can be made without delay.

Those present on the occasion included Vice President Farooq Qureshi, Joint Secretary Ar. Izhar Hussain, Committee Coordinator Irshad Ahmed, Dr Syed Irshad Ali, Anis Abbasi, Tauqeer Raza, Tanveer Chishti, and other members.
