Udaipur: The grand release of the *“Guru Pushkar–Devendra Jain Calendar 2026”*, dedicated to the glory of Shraman culture, spiritual consciousness, and the scientific tradition of timekeeping, was held on Sunday in a dignified and ceremonial atmosphere at Raj Bhavan (Lok Bhavan), Chandigarh.

This distinguished Jain calendar has been published by **Shri Tarak Guru Jain Granthalaya, Udaipur**, and was formally released by the **Governor of Punjab and Administrator of Chandigarh, Shri Gulab Chand Kataria**, in the august presence of **Shraman Sangh Advisor Pujya Dinesh Muni Maharaj, Pujya Dr. Dweependra Muni Maharaj, and Pujya Dr. Pushpendra Muni Maharaj**.

While appreciating the efforts of Shri Tarak Guru Jain Granthalaya, Governor Shri Gulab Chand Kataria said that such publications are not limited to religious use alone, but also serve to connect the younger generation with their culture, traditions, and moral values. He described the initiative to spread the ideals of *Upadhyay Pushkar Muni* and *Acharya Devendra Muni* among the masses as highly commendable. He emphasized that a balance of culture, values, and time-consciousness is essential for building a strong and harmonious society.

On this occasion, Advisor **Dinesh Muni Maharaj** stated that accurate calculation of time, a disciplined lifestyle, and the orderly observance of festivals form the essence of the Jain way of life, and that this calendar serves as a powerful medium of that discipline.

Addressing the gathering, **Dr. Dweependra Muni Maharaj** highlighted the special features of the calendar, noting that it is not merely a compilation of dates, but a comprehensive religious, cultural, and scientific guide for Jain households. The calendar includes details such as *Bhagwan Mahavir Nirvan Samvat, Vikram Samvat, Shaka Samvat*, daily tithis, Jain *Panch Kalyanak* festivals, Shraman Sangh observances, as well as social and national festivals. It also provides information on fortnightly *Pakshi* festivals, *Pachchakhana* guidelines, and various other relevant details.

Prominent personalities including **Shivkumar Bagrecha** and **Mukesh Sand (Jain)**, along with several distinguished guests, Jain devotees, and social representatives, were present on the occasion. All expressed happiness over the publication of this informative and spiritually enriching calendar and described it as a guiding beacon for society.
