Leading this program is Dr. Saurabh Singhal, a renowned liver transplant and hepatobiliary surgeon, trained at AIIMS Delhi and in the USA, with over 100 liver transplants performed annually. Liver failure—whether due to cirrhosis, advanced liver disease, or cancer—often leaves patients with no alternative except transplantation. With this service now available locally, countless lives stand to be saved.

Robotic & Minimally Invasive Heart Surgery: Surgery Without Breaking the Chest

Another landmark achievement is the introduction of robotic and minimally invasive cardiac surgery, making GBH General Hospital the first in Udaipur and among the few in Rajasthan to offer this facility.

Unlike conventional open-heart surgery, robotic heart surgery allows surgeons to diagnose and treat cardiac problems without opening the chest bone, using tiny incisions and robotic precision. Recovery is faster, pain is minimal, and hospital stay is significantly reduced.
