The 13th Monthly Technology Lecture Series, jointly organized by the Science Committee and the Dr. D.S. Kothari Institute, featured an informative and in-depth lecture on the topic **“Cancer: From A to Z.”** The keynote speaker was **Dr. Maheep Bhatnagar**, President of the Science Committee, who delivered a comprehensive presentation covering various types of cancer, their causes, diagnosis, immunotherapy, molecular therapy, and preventive measures.

The program began with a welcome address by **Er. R.K. Chatur**. The session was chaired by **Dr. Harish Mathur**, former Professor at R.N.T. Medical College. **Er. M.P. Jain**, General Secretary, conducted the proceedings of the program, while **Dr. K.P. Talesara** introduced the keynote speaker. The vote of thanks was presented by **Dr. R.K. Garg**.

Media In-charge and Molecular Biologist **Professor Vimal Sharma** informed that lung and prostate cancers are more common among men, while breast, lung, and cervical cancers are prevalent among women. He emphasized that instead of panicking after a cancer diagnosis, timely screening and treatment can prevent the disease from progressing. He also stressed the importance of organizing such awareness lectures at all levels to help in cancer prevention.

Students and teachers from **Vidya Niketan School, Ashok Nagar**, along with **Shri Shyam Sundar Sharma**, were specially present at the program. Several distinguished members of the Kothari Institute and the Science Committee attended the event, including **Er. R.K. Khokhawat, Dr. K.L. Totawat, Dr. Pushpa Kothari, Shantilal Bhandari, Renu Bhandari, Madhu Mittal, Er. Ashok Jain, Er. S.C.K. Ved, Vardhman Mehta, Er. Y.K. Boliya, Er. Gaurang Shah, and Dr. Sujan Singh**, among others.
