Udaipur: The 142nd Maharana Bhopal Jayanti Felicitation Ceremony was jointly organized by Lokjan Seva Sansthan and Janardan Rai Nagar Rajasthan Vidyapeeth at the new auditorium of Shramjeevi College. The program was held under the chairmanship of Professor Umashankar (Former Vice-Chancellor, MPUAT).

Chief Guest Shyam Sundar Mantri, a recipient of the President’s Award for service to persons with disabilities, expressed deep concern over the decline of Indian cultural values and suggested effective measures to improve the current situation.

Former Minister of State Jagdish Raj Shrimali, delivering the keynote address, described the Parameshti system of governance as the core foundation of an invincible empire and elaborated on the valor and glorious history of Mewar.

Distinguished Guest Justice S.S. Parihar spoke about his deep and emotional connection with Mewar. He stated that it was this invisible bond that inspired him to travel 2,000 kilometers to attend the event even at the age of 83.

In his presidential address, Dr. Umashankar Sharma presented a detailed account of the reign of Maharana Bhopal Singh.

Institution President Prof. Vimal Sharma informed that the program commenced with an invocation. Dr. Jai Raj Acharya delivered the welcome address, Prof. Mishri Lal Mandot introduced the guests, and General Secretary Jai Kishan Chaubey presented an introduction to the institution. Distinguished guests Prof. Hemant Kothari and Adv. Rao Ratan Singh also addressed the gathering. The event was compered by Pramila Sharad Vyas and Dr. Kul Shekhar Vyas. The vote of thanks was proposed by Dr. Vimal Sharma.

The ceremony concluded with the national anthem, followed by a fellowship dinner.
