Udaipur: A core committee meeting of the Mahavir Jain Jagruti Parishad, the representative organization of the Hiranmagri suburban area, was held at Mahavir Jain Vidyalaya Sansthan. During the meeting, it was unanimously decided that the 2625th Mahavir Janma Kalyanak Mahotsav will now be celebrated on March 30, 2026, instead of the previously scheduled March 31, with great devotion and enthusiasm in the suburban region of Udaipur.

Core committee member Dr. Himmat Lal Vaya informed that on March 30 at 8:00 AM, a grand vehicle rally will start from Vidya Niketan School, which will later proceed as a grand procession (Shobha Yatra). After the procession, a Swamivatsalya (community feast) will be organized for members of the Jain community.

Arun Baya stated that on the same day in the evening, the Women’s Wing will organize a grand cultural evening, where women from the community will present various cultural performances with active participation from society members.

Sushil Banthia and R. C. Mehta informed that earlier, on March 22, the program “Ek Shaam Mahavir Ke Naam” will be organized. In this event, Nisha Hingad and her team will present devotional and cultural performances based on the life and teachings of Mahavira.

Rajendra Daga and Dinesh Nandawat also announced that on March 8, on the occasion of International Women's Day, a grand “Udaan Exhibition” along with a fair will be organized.

The Mahavir Jain Jagruti Parishad has appealed to all Jain organizations, women’s groups, youth, and community members of the suburban area to contribute and participate wholeheartedly—physically, mentally, and financially—to make the festival a grand success and a symbol of religious faith, social unity, and cultural pride across the region.

The meeting was attended by core committee members Dr. Himmat Lal Vaya, Arun Kumar Baya, R. C. Mehta, Sushil Banthia, Anandi Lal Bamboria, Rajendra Akhawat, Dinesh Nandawat, Rajendra Daga, and Hemant Pamecha, who shared their ideas to make the celebration grand. The vote of thanks was delivered by Rajendra Akhawat.
