Jaipur/Udaipur: Under the leadership of Chief Minister Bhajanlal Sharma, Rajasthan has made significant progress toward transparent, accountable, and citizen-centric governance. Through the state’s citizen-focused initiative, the Rajasthan Sampark Helpline (181), complaints are being resolved swiftly and efficiently.
As a result, in March 2026, the citizen satisfaction level regarding grievance redressal has reached an all-time high of over 80%, marking a notable rise from approximately 69.54% in the previous month.
The Rajasthan Government remains fully committed to timely and effective resolution of public grievances. Chief Minister Bhajanlal Sharma has personally inspected the helpline on several occasions, directly interacting with complainants and regularly seeking feedback on resolved cases. He has issued clear instructions to departmental officials to ensure prompt and effective disposal of complaints.
Recently, Food and Civil Supplies Minister Sumit Godara also visited the helpline center and directly interacted with complainants to gather feedback.
Senior Officials Conducting Regular Visits to the Helpline
Chief Secretary V. Srinivas has issued a circular directing all departmental in-charge secretaries to personally visit the Rajasthan Sampark Helpline (181) between March 4 and April 28. During these visits, officials—from Additional Chief Secretaries to Secretaries—are directly interacting with citizens over calls and collecting feedback.
This initiative has led to continuous improvement in hearing cases, factual review, and ensuring quick and quality resolution of complaints.
Rapid Progress in Transformational Reforms
Chief Secretary V. Srinivas stated that citizen-centric governance is a key priority of the state government. The Rajasthan Sampark Helpline (181), as a “next-generation public interface,” has significantly reduced the gap between citizens and the government through technology.
On the directions of Chief Minister Bhajanlal Sharma, major reforms in the helpline system are being implemented at a rapid pace. Senior officials across departments are visiting the helpline center daily, engaging directly with citizens, and ensuring continuous improvement in grievance redressal quality.
Record Disposal: 25,254 Cases in a Single Day
Notably, on February 24, 2026, the helpline achieved an all-time high disposal of 25,254 cases in a single day, while only 11,788 new complaints were registered that day—indicating substantial improvement in grievance resolution efficiency. Additionally, the average disposal time has reduced to just 7 days, reflecting faster resolution.
The Rajasthan Government’s initiative is playing a crucial role in bringing citizens’ voices directly to the administration and ensuring solutions to their problems from the comfort of their homes. Citizens can register their grievances by calling the toll-free number 181 or by using the Rajasthan Sampark portal or mobile app.
