Udaipur: In accordance with the directives of the Rajasthan Pradesh Congress Committee (RPCC), an important meeting was held today at the Udaipur Rural District Congress Committee office in Surajpole under the ongoing Sangathan Srijan Abhiyan (Organization Building Campaign), aimed at strengthening the Congress party from the district level down to blocks and mandals.

Media In-charge Dinesh Audichya informed that the meeting was conducted under the guidance of Mrs. Meenakshi Sethi Zaidi from the All India Congress Committee (AICC) War Room. Detailed discussions were held regarding the directions and strategies received from both the AICC and PCC War Rooms.

Addressing the gathering, Mrs. Meenakshi Sethi Zaidi emphasized the need to understand the sentiments and concerns of the common people. She stated that Members of Parliament candidates, MLAs, and former MLA candidates must organize village chaupals in their respective constituencies to engage directly with citizens and address their issues in a timely manner. She also stressed that district Congress office bearers should actively participate in these village meetings to strengthen direct communication with the public.

Zaidi further announced that voter mapping would be conducted up to the booth level in all Assembly constituencies under the Udaipur Rural District Congress Committee. The initiative aims to ensure that eligible voters who may have been left out of the electoral rolls during the SIR process are re-enrolled. Block and Mandal Presidents have been instructed to deploy their office bearers at the booth level and submit reports to the District Congress Committee to ensure that no eligible voter is excluded.

She also directed the District Congress Committee to regularly inform the PCC and AICC about MLAs, former MLA candidates, PCC office bearers, and district-level functionaries who fail to attend three consecutive meetings or party protests. This, she said, would help identify inactive leaders and office bearers. Zaidi further instructed Block Presidents to upload details of their activities and programs on the AICC and PCC portals, enabling direct monitoring by the central and state leadership.

Speaking on the occasion, Udaipur Rural District Congress President Raghuveer Singh Meena stressed the importance of understanding booth management in the current political scenario. He announced that the District Congress Committee would soon organize training camps at the district, block, and mandal levels focusing on social media management, booth management, and effective communication of Congress policies to the public.

Meena stated that party workers must remain informed about developments from the grassroots to the international level to effectively guide booth-level workers. He said that trained workers would be better equipped to communicate the shortcomings of both the Central and State BJP governments to the public in villages and hamlets.

He emphasized that strengthening the party must begin at the booth level, which in turn would strengthen mandals and blocks. Reports of programs, demonstrations, and activities conducted by booths, mandals, and blocks would be submitted to the PCC and AICC. Inactive office bearers would be replaced by active and committed workers. He added that the functioning of district, block, and mandal units would be closely monitored by both the PCC and AICC through regular portal updates, and those demonstrating strong performance would be given greater organizational responsibilities.

Among those present at the meeting were Meenakshi Sethi Zaidi (AICC War Room), Udaipur Rural District Congress President Raghuveer Singh Meena, Lok Sabha candidate Tarachand Meena, PCC Vice President Hiralal Darangi, former Minister Dr. Mangilal Garasia, former MLA Preeti Shaktawat, PCC General Secretaries Suresh Suthar, Dr. Kalyan Singh Rao, Naval Singh Chundawat, Dr. Kaushal Nagda, Dr. Sanjeev Rajpurohit, Dinesh Audichya, and Block Presidents Rajendra Gokhru (Mavli), Chandraprakash Menaria (Vallabhnagar), Dinesh Meena (Kherwara), Rooplal Meena (Rishabhdev), Ram Singh Chadana (Gogunda), Rajendra Jain (Jhadol), and Kamal Dangi (Hiran Magri), along with several Congress leaders and workers.

The meeting was conducted by Dr. Sanjeev Rajpurohit, while the vote of thanks was delivered by Naval Singh Chundawat.
