Udaipur: Six Lions Clubs of Udaipur jointly held a grand installation ceremony at the Rajasthan College of Agriculture Auditorium, where newly elected office-bearers for the 2026–27 term assumed charge with a pledge to strengthen community service. The clubs reaffirmed their commitment to expanding initiatives in education, healthcare, environmental conservation, women’s empowerment and social welfare.

Former Multiple Council Chairman Arvind Sharma administered the oath of office to the presidents, secretaries and treasurers of Lions Clubs Hiran Magri, Neelanjana, Eklingji, Aristocrat, Mangal and Yuvashakti. The event also welcomed 19 new members, who were inducted by former Multiple Council Chairman Sanjay Bhandari.

Addressing the gathering, former Lions International Director V.K. Ladia described Lions Clubs as a global movement dedicated to humanitarian service rather than merely a social organisation. He urged members to work collectively with dedication and compassion to create a meaningful impact through public welfare projects.

The ceremony was attended by senior Lions leaders, including Region Chairperson Basanti Verma, Abhishek Sharma, Zone Chairperson Rekha Jain, and other distinguished members.
