Udaipur: Dedicated to recognising women’s contributions, achievements, and empowerment, Rotary Club Udaipur Pannadhay organised the grand ‘Grihalakshmi Awards’ ceremony at Ashoka Green. With the message that “Every woman in society deserves respect,” the event honoured 75 women aged between 30 and 85 years for their remarkable contributions across various fields. The awardees were felicitated with traditional Uparna and commemorative trophies.

The celebration witnessed enthusiastic participation from a large number of women, making the occasion memorable and inspiring. Chief guests Rtn. Madhu Sarin, Sweety Chhabra, women entrepreneur Reena Rathore, and Shraddha Gattani highlighted that honouring women is not merely a formality but a reflection of a progressive and sensitive society. They appreciated women’s significant role in family, society, and nation-building.

Club President Rtn. Rajendra Agrawal said that every woman, whether a homemaker or a professional, is a source of inspiration. He added that the club aims to recognise such women and strengthen the values of respect, equality, and empowerment in society.

The programme was effectively conducted by Rtn. Shalini Bhatnagar and concluded with a collective pledge to continue respecting, supporting, and encouraging women’s contributions in all spheres of life.
