Udaipur, The Mannat Wale Raja Bappa, installed by New Mewar Mitra Mandal for the past 22 years at Dhanmandi–Marshal Chauraha, will be adorned tomorrow in a magnificent aangi and gold ornaments worth ₹1.55 crore, offering devotees an enchanting darshan.

Mandir convenor Vishal Jain and vice president Anil Padiyar informed that all members of the mandal decided this year’s grand aangi collectively, gathering contributions in denominations of ₹500, ₹200, ₹100, and ₹50 notes. The total amount of ₹1.55 crore will be displayed as Bappa’s aangi and later returned to the respective contributors the following day.

Last year, Bappa was decorated with an aangi worth ₹51,51,551, but this year’s adornment will be the largest in Mewar, accompanied by an exquisite arrangement of gold jewelry. The pandal itself has been designed with new themes, reflecting Mewar’s rich heritage, with mandal members working tirelessly to prepare the grand setting.

For devotees, separate queues will be arranged to facilitate the special darshan. Along with the lavish ornamentation, Bappa will also be offered special dishes as bhog.
