Udaipur, In line with the important directions issued by the State Government, District Collector Namit Mehta convened a video conference late Thursday evening with all district-level officers, sub-divisional officers, and block-level officials.
Additional District Collector (Administration) Dipendra Singh Rathore informed that during the meeting, the District Collector instructed all SDMs to coordinate with their respective legislators and conduct visits to the rain-affected areas. They were directed to submit reports within the next three days, including details of losses caused by heavy rains, human and livestock casualties, along with proposals for relief measures.
Preparations for Upcoming Campaigns
The District Collector also reviewed the preparations for the “Chalo Shaher Abhiyan” starting on September 15 and the “Chalo Gaon Abhiyan” scheduled from September 18. Panchayat and ward-wise calendars are to be released by September 10, and pre-camp activities are to be organized in advance. All departmental officers were directed to ensure necessary preparations regarding departmental schemes in the upcoming camps.
Focus on Law and Order During Festivals
District Magistrate Mehta further directed that peace and law and order be maintained across the district during the upcoming festivals. Officials were asked to keep a close watch on their respective areas and report any untoward activities to headquarters while taking immediate necessary action. He appealed that all festivals be celebrated with traditional harmony and brotherhood, and for this, all necessary measures be taken.
The meeting was attended by all district-level officers, while sub-divisional officers, tehsildars, BDOs, and other block-level officials joined through video conference.
