Udaipur, Shri Eklignath National Seva Sangthan celebrated its second foundation day along with the farewell ceremony of the second batch of women trainees in tailoring and beauty parlour skills. The grand event was organized at Oriental Palace Resort, where certificates were awarded to women and young girls who had successfully completed their courses.

The ceremony was graced by social worker and Charter Secretary of Rotary Club Meera, Mrs. Madhu Sareen, as the chief guest, while Advocate Nirmal Kumar Pandit, the National General Secretary of the sangthan, attended as the special guest.

Speaking on the occasion, Mrs. Sareen praised the sangthan’s efforts to empower women in both urban and rural areas of Udaipur. She said, “In today’s time when even spare time is scarce, service work itself has become a challenge. Yet, young Akash Bagdi is dedicating his energy, resources, and commitment to social welfare. Challenges will surely come in such noble work, but true success lies in overcoming them and moving forward.”

Special guest Advocate Pandit highlighted the growth of the sangthan, noting that it has been carrying out service activities without relying on donations, which makes its achievements even more remarkable.

Founder President Akash Bagdi shared that the sangthan was established two years ago with the objectives of education, healthcare, and environmental protection. Over this period, it has undertaken several impactful service initiatives—linking women with tailoring and beauty training to help them achieve self-reliance, adopting girl children for their protection and care, and distributing school kits.

In a key announcement, Bagdi declared that for the first time in Udaipur, the sangthan will soon start free coaching for women in paramedical courses, thereby opening new avenues of empowerment and self-sufficiency.

The event was also attended by former councillor Rakesh Porwal, social media influencer Jitendra Singh Ranawat, Sukhadia University Students’ Union Vice President Vishnu Rebari, social worker Omprakash Bagdi, and Rakesh Rathore as special guests. The cultural segment of the program included devotional songs by singers Vandana John and Anant Lohar, along with other performances that enriched the celebration.

Certificates and mementos were presented to the women who completed the tailoring and beauty parlour courses. Prominent among those present were District Women President Manju Khinchi, District Women Secretary Sunita Prajapat, District Women Minister Meena Yadav, and District General Secretary Chanchal Audichya, who expressed their appreciation for the sangthan’s initiatives.

The celebration concluded on a note of inspiration, highlighting how dedicated community service can pave the way for empowerment, particularly for women striving for independence.
