Udaipur,As part of Seva Parv Pakhwada – Rural Service Camp 2025 held at Kadmal, the State Government’s ambitious Mukhyamantri Mangla Pashu Bima Yojana was implemented to safeguard livestock owners against financial losses due to accidental deaths of sheep and goats. Under this initiative, insurance policies were distributed to 10 sheep and goat rearers.

Insurance Policies Distributed to Farmers

The policies were distributed by Pratibha Nagda, Pradhan of Badgaon Tehsil, who raised the slogan “Livestock is priceless, insure it to protect its value.” She emphasized that this scheme is fulfilling the vision of Chief Minister Bhajanlal Sharma. The initiative was carried out jointly by the Departments of Animal Husbandry, Revenue, and State Insurance Provident Fund.

Prominent officials present included Camp In-charge and SDM Latika Paliwal, IAS Officer Srishti Dabas (Development Officer), Tehsildar Hitesh Trivedi, Block Animal Husbandry Officer Dr. Dattatreya Chaudhary, Additional Development Officer Hitesh Joshi, and Veterinary Officer Dr. Nirmal Kumar.

Mobile Veterinary Unit Treats Injured Bull

In another camp organized under Seva Parv at Kathar, livestock owner Suresh, son of Gangaram Gayri, reported that his bull’s horn was broken. Acting promptly, Camp In-charge SDM Latika Paliwal instructed Animal Husbandry officials to provide immediate relief.

The treatment was carried out by the Badgaon Mobile Veterinary Unit 1962 under the supervision of Dr. Lalit Joshi, along with Paravet Hansraj Gora, PDP Ramakant Chobisa, and Tikam Singh Rana. The bull was treated and its wound dressed, providing much-needed relief to the farmer.

The camp was attended by Deputy Tehsildar Ramesh Singh Rajpurohit, Additional Development Officer Anumansingh Gurjar, LI Iswal and Ambalal Jat (LI Losing), PDP Premsingh Losing, and social worker Jitendra Nagda, along with BJP leader Shambhu Shehar, Vice President.
