Railway Colony Police Station In-charge CI Ramswaroop Meena continues to achieve remarkable successes. In the latest action, his police team rescued Gujarat-based traders from the clutches of kidnappers.

Traders Abducted for ₹20 Lakh Ransom

Kota City SP Tejaswini Gautam informed that the traders had been abducted from Maharashtra, and a ransom of ₹20 lakh was demanded. After the abduction, the gang forced victims at gunpoint to make objectionable videos with a woman from the gang. These videos were then used as tools of blackmail, with threats to make them viral if money was not paid.

Firearms Recovered from the Accused

During the operation, police seized two pistols and one live cartridge from the accused. The operation was carried out under the supervision of Additional SP Dilip Kumar Saini and DySP Ganga Sahay Sharma, with a special team formed under the leadership of CI Meena.

The Police Team

The team included ASI Ramsingh, Abdul Latif, Head Constable Kapil Garve, Constables Laxman, Ajit, Suresh, Radheshyam, Diwan, DST Assistant Operation Ramveer, Head Constable Surendra, Ashok Kumar, Constables Pradeep, Shaukat, Jaiveer, and Rohitash.

The Modus Operandi of the Gang

The gang comprised Mohammad Junaid, Nehal Ahmed, Illu, Aman Pathan alias Babbu, Saddam, Ravindra, and Tahir — all close associates with criminal tendencies.

They specifically targeted wealthy and influential individuals.

Victims were abducted after careful analysis of their weaknesses.

They extorted money by threatening to publicize any negative facts.

In cases where no such facts existed, they forced victims to make obscene videos and used them as blackmail material.

This breakthrough has added yet another feather in the cap of CI Ramswaroop Meena and his dedicated team.
