Kota, As part of the Hindi Day Fortnight celebrations, the Government Public Divisional Library, Kota, organised a series of competitions for students and library readers to promote interest in the Hindi language, creativity and communication skills.

An essay writing competition was organised on the topic “Role of Hindi in the Era of Knowledge, Science and Artificial Intelligence.” Participants shared their views on the possibilities of developing Hindi as a powerful medium for knowledge, science, technology and artificial intelligence.

A dictation competition was also conducted, featuring a passage highlighting the growing relevance of Hindi in knowledge, science, technology and artificial intelligence, along with the role of digital platforms in taking the language to new readers and younger generations. Participants demonstrated their language proficiency and accuracy in writing.

A self-composed poetry writing competition was organised on the theme “Hindi: My Identity, My Pride.” Participants expressed their affection, pride and emotional connection with the Hindi language through their original poems.

The debate competition focused on the topic “The Future of Hindi in the Age of Artificial Intelligence: More Opportunities or Challenges?” Participants presented arguments both for and against the topic, leading to a meaningful discussion on the contemporary form of Hindi, digital technology, artificial intelligence and the growing influence of Hindi among the younger generation.

The library administration informed that the results of the competitions will be announced on September 18, 2026. Winners will be felicitated with prizes and certificates during the closing ceremony of the Hindi Day Fortnight on September 19, 2026.
