Udaipur: Residents of Ward 13 have expressed strong objections to the relocation of the Government Girls’ Primary School, which was moved to the Kheradi Wada premises due to pending repairs of the boundary wall. The new location currently lacks adequate seating arrangements, forcing young girls to travel long distances and face inconvenience.

Ward 13 councilor Chaman Ara, former councilor Rashid Khan, Dehat Secretary Qadar Khan, Mohammad Ishaq Khan, Mubarik Hussain Khilji, former councilor Firoz Ahmed Sheikh, social worker Advocate Nirmal, and other local residents submitted a memorandum to the District Collector of Udaipur.

The memorandum highlighted that the school’s new building in Ward 13 is fully equipped with smart classrooms, RO water facilities, and other essential amenities, and only the boundary wall repair is pending.

The residents have demanded:

  1. Immediate repair of the boundary wall to reopen the school at its original location, or

  2. Permission to temporarily operate the school in Ward 13’s community hall until repairs are completed.
