Udaipur. The Aishwarya Award-Fit Kid Yogi 2025 program was successfully organized at Aishwarya College, where more than 100 students from various schools across the city were felicitated for their outstanding yoga performances. The event aimed to inspire children to adopt yoga and a healthy lifestyle.

The ceremony commenced with the lighting of the ceremonial lamp by the guests, Professor of Pacific College Dr. Vatsala Singh and psychologist Akshara Damle. Program coordinator Shamil Sheikh informed that certificates and gifts were presented to the participating students in recognition of their yoga skills. The students showcased their talent by presenting a series of impressive yoga postures.

Principal Dr. Rekha Sharma highlighted the importance of yoga, stating that yoga strengthens both physical and mental health of children. She further added that yoga cultivates discipline, concentration, and positive thinking in life. Guest Dr. Raksha Sharma welcomed the dignitaries by presenting them with mementos.

Speaking on the occasion, Dr. Singh emphasized that Ayurveda and yoga are complementary to each other, as Ayurveda keeps the body healthy while yoga brings peace to the mind and enhances the power to fight diseases. Guest Damle added that yoga practices such as asanas, pranayama, and meditation bring positive changes in the brain, improving concentration and memory.

The event was smoothly conducted by the college students. Towards the end, Dr. Heena Shrimali proposed a vote of thanks to all the guests, teachers, and students. The celebration proved to be a commendable step towards increasing children’s interest in yoga and encouraging them to embrace a healthier lifestyle.
