Udaipur: The Income Tax Department successfully conducted an outreach programme at the Guru Nanak Public School Auditorium to explain the procedures of registration under Section 12AB and approval under Section 80G of the Income Tax Act. The event was attended by over 100 stakeholders, including chartered accountants, tax professionals, trustees of charitable organizations, and representatives of educational institutions.
The programme was graced by Manoj Kumar, Joint Commissioner of Income Tax (Exemptions), Jaipur, as the Chief Guest, who shared valuable insights during his address. Hempal Choudhary, Income Tax Officer (Exemptions), Udaipur, also spoke at the event, elaborating on the procedural aspects.
A comprehensive presentation was delivered on the registration process under Section 12AB and approval under Section 80G, followed by an interactive discussion with the stakeholders. Manoj Kumar answered participants’ queries, offering clarity on the provisions of the Income Tax Act and related guidelines.
