Udaipur. The General Assembly Meeting and Diwali Get-Together of Manav Seva Samiti was held today at the organization’s office located in Sahariya Dharamshala, within the premises of Maharana Bhupal Government Hospital, under the chairmanship of Prakash Vardiya.

The meeting commenced with a welcome address by Secretary Shivratan Tiwari, who, with the permission of the chair, began the proceedings and presented the minutes of the previous executive meeting held on 18 May 2025, which were approved unanimously.

CA Dilip Kothari presented and secured approval for the audited financial report for the year 2024–25. He also discussed the ₹17 lakh demand case resolved favorably by the High Court, for which a vote of thanks was passed.

Details regarding the committee’s contribution and outstanding recoveries under the Janani Suraksha Yojana were shared. A vote of thanks was also extended to Wonder Cement Management for approving and sanctioning funds for the renovation of the community dining hall.

Mrs. Shakuntala Gang expressed gratitude for the installation of an RO water plant and cooler for sportspersons at the Bhandari Pavilion.

It was also decided to organize a blood donation camp on November 30, the committee’s foundation day, in collaboration with Saral Blood Bank.

In his presidential address, Prakash Vardiya informed that five philanthropists who donate ₹1 lakh annually and 108 donors contributing between ₹11,000 and ₹21,000 each year are associated with the committee. He added that, due to the committee’s consistent efforts, renovation work of the premises has been completed after 15 years, and extended gratitude to all members for their cooperation.

Patron Mrs. Rajni Dangi and Vice President Bhupal Singh Kothari also addressed the gathering.

Media Incharge Prof. Vimal Sharma informed that since 1995, including during the COVID-19 pandemic, Manav Seva Samiti has been providing free meals twice a day to attendants of patients admitted in Maharana Bhupal Hospital.
