Udaipur. A wave of patriotism swept across the district on Monday as government offices resonated with the collective singing of “Vande Mataram”, marking 150 years of the iconic national song. Officials and employees across all state departments participated enthusiastically in the celebration and pledged to promote the spirit of Swadeshi.

The main event was held at the District Collectorate premises, where ADM City Jitendra Ojha administered the oath of nationalism, self-reliance, and the use of indigenous products. Ojha stated that “Vande Mataram” is not merely a song but a symbol of reverence, unity, and pride toward Mother India. He urged everyone to give preference to Indian-made goods and to embrace the spirit of Swadeshi in daily life.

During the ceremony, officials and staff sang “Vande Mataram” in unison, expressing their patriotic fervor with pride and emotion. Similar collective singing and oath-taking events were organized in all government offices throughout the district.
