Udaipur — Additional Commissioner and Joint Secretary (Panchayati Raj Department) Mr. Brijesh Kumar Chandolia conducted a review meeting on Wednesday at the District Council Auditorium in the presence of CEO Ms. Ria Dabi, assessing the progress of various departmental schemes.

During the meeting, detailed discussions were held with all Block Development Officers (BDOs), District Council cell in-charges, and Panchayat Samiti staff on key programs including Swachh Bharat Mission, Swamitva, and Jansunwai.

Mr. Chandolia instructed officials to ensure regular village sanitation, door-to-door waste collection, cleaning of public toilets, and segregation of waste at collection centers. Under the Swamitva Yojana, he directed all blocks to submit pending maps, distribute property parcels as per received maps, and prepare maps of saturated villages for submission.

He further instructed that proposals be prepared and sent for villages where property parcel distribution was delayed due to technical issues. Officials were also directed to conduct regular public hearings, village inspections, and night meetings (Chaupals), and to send compliance reports accordingly.

At the district council level, continuous monitoring of all blocks was emphasized. Under the Swachh Bharat Mission, he appreciated Udaipur district’s innovative initiative of monitoring through the “Swachh Dhani App” and instructed that its outreach be expanded to engage the general public.

The meeting was attended by ACEO Veerma Ram, all Block Development Officers, and District Council cell in-charges.
