Udaipur — The seven-day residential Scout Master Basic Course Training Camp for Salumber and Udaipur districts concluded successfully on Wednesday at the Mandal Training Centre, Uday Nivas, under the aegis of the Rajasthan State Bharat Scouts and Guides, Udaipur Division Headquarters.

Camp Director C.O. (Scout) Surendra Kumar Pandey informed that the participants received practical training on various key aspects of scouting during the camp. Trainer Mangal Kumar Jain conducted sessions on Active Troop Management, Ganpat Lal Menaria on Scout Investiture Ceremony, Vaktawar Singh Devda on Knot-Tying of All Three Levels, Vardichand Meghwal on Troop Record Maintenance, and Sushil Sevda on Scout Drills and the Importance of Physical Fitness.

Vishal Gupta and Virendra Singh Chundawat served as Service Rovers throughout the camp. Each day, trainee teachers followed a disciplined schedule that began at 5 a.m. with morning assembly, devotional singing, yoga, and exercise sessions, followed by a multi-faith prayer gathering.

On the final day, participants’ acquired knowledge was assessed through revision and evaluation exercises. Trainer Mangal Kumar Jain explained that a Scout Investiture Ceremony was organized to induct school students who had completed a three-month entry course into scout troops. During this session, the trainers enacted the roles of Headmaster, Scouter, Assistant Scouter, Guest, and Scout, demonstrating the investiture process in a practical and engaging way.

In the concluding session, Camp Director Surendra Kumar Pandey encouraged all trainees to continue promoting the spirit of scouting for the holistic development of children and motivated them to actively participate in community service as dedicated scouters.
