Udaipur. As part of the series of events organised by the District Administration, an Aadi Prasaran programme was held on Friday at the Communication Setu Centre located in the TRI campus. The event was inaugurated by Divisional Commissioner Ms. Pragya Kevalramani and TAD Deputy Commissioner Nirma Vishnoi.
On this occasion, Dr. Manoj, Lecturer from the History Department of Pacific College, and Dr. Amrita Dadhich, Nodal Officer, were present as keynote speakers. Both speakers delivered inspiring talks on the indomitable struggle of Dharati Aaba Bhagwan Birsa Munda, his remarkable contributions to the upliftment of the tribal community, and the courage and sacrifice of the brave young girl Kalibai.
During the programme, a film based on the life of Bhagwan Birsa Munda was also screened. Through online platforms, around 4,250 students, superintendents, teachers, and members of the public joined and benefitted from the broadcast. Additionally, girls from the Bhopalpura Sports Hostel and Madhuban Ashram Hostel attended the event offline and gained detailed information about Bhagwan Birsa Munda and other tribal icons.
The students described the session as highly inspiring and said that such programmes help them connect with their history, heroes, and values.
