Udaipur. As part of the ongoing programmes under the Tribal Pride Year, a meaningful discussion focused on Bhagwan Birsa Munda and other tribal icons was organised on Friday at RSCERT, Udaipur. The event was chaired by RSCERT Director Shweta Fagadiya.

Dr. Amrita Dadhich, Additional District Education Officer, TAD, served as the keynote speaker and delivered a comprehensive presentation on the life, personality and contributions of Bhagwan Birsa Munda through an elaborate PowerPoint session. A film based on his life was also screened, offering the audience deeper insight into his struggles and impact.

Following the film screening, an interactive question–answer session was held with the participants, who engaged enthusiastically. Thaan Singh and Dr. Ripu Daman presented powerful talks on the courageous life of Veer Balika Kalibai, the valour of warrior Rana Punja, and inspiring episodes from the lives of tribal heroes and community leaders.

Approximately 200 participants attended the programme and benefitted from the rich understanding of tribal history, culture and the motivating narratives of revered tribal icons.
