Udaipur — As part of Children’s Day Week, the Child Rights Department organized a friendly cricket match and a legal awareness camp. A cricket match was held on Sunday between orphaned children and students from Rockwood School, Udaipur, fostering camaraderie and sportsmanship among the children.

The department also deployed Childline teams to various schools and institutions to raise awareness about child rights and prevent child marriages. Pledges were taken by children to uphold these rights, and educational programs were conducted to sensitize them. At the conclusion of the cricket match, Deepak Sharma, Director of Rockwood School, awarded medals and prizes to the children, bringing great joy and enthusiasm to all participants.

Simultaneously, a legal awareness camp was conducted at the Government Observation Home and Government Girls’ Home, Udaipur.

The Child Rights Department announced that between 14 and 20 November, several district-wide programs will address child welfare issues. Additionally, rescue campaigns will be launched against begging and child labor, further promoting the safety and rights of children in the community.
