Udaipur. The Khelo India Asmita Soft Tennis League, held at the Rajasthan University Sports Complex in Jaipur, witnessed an impressive performance by players from Udaipur. According to Bhavna Batra, Secretary of the Udaipur Soft Tennis Association, the league was organized under the Government of India’s initiatives for women empowerment and the ‘Lakshya Olympic’ mission.

Drishti Shrimali, a student of St. Gregorios School, won the silver medal in the sub-junior category, while Dali Gameti, a student of Government Senior Secondary School, Dhar, secured the bronze medal in the junior category. With this achievement, both players have qualified for the Rajasthan team that will participate in the upcoming Western Regional Championship to be held in Raipur, Chhattisgarh.

Udaipur Divisional Commissioner Pragya Kewalramani, District Collector Namit Mehta, UDA Commissioner Rahul Jain, District Sports Officer Dr. Mahesh Paliwal, Dr. Satyanarayan Suthar, and coaches Khemraj Gameti and Neeraj Batra congratulated the players on their remarkable accomplishment.

A total of 250 women players participated in the competition.
