On the occasion of World Water Day, the Department of Geography at Mohanlal Sukhadia University organized a Water Source Worship program.

Head of the Department Prof. Seema Jalan informed that the chief guest of the event was Dean of the Arts College Prof. Madan Singh Rathore. Other distinguished speakers included Prof. Pratibha from the Department of History and Co-Dean Dr. Naveen Nandwana.

The speakers delivered lectures on topics such as water conservation, the historical significance of water in Mewar, and the role of water in Hindi literature, motivating students to actively participate in water conservation efforts.

All students took a pledge to protect water sources and not to pollute them.

On this occasion, a quiz competition based on water resources was also organized, in which Pranjal Shrimali and Vidhi Chittora secured first place.

The program was coordinated by Assistant Professor Dr. Devendra Singh Chauhan.
