Udaipur, A Tech Innovation Boot Camp was organised today at the College of Technology and Engineering (CTAE), Maharana Pratap University of Agriculture and Technology (MPUAT), Udaipur. The event was jointly conducted under the aegis of BITS Pilani and the Department of Science and Technology (DST), Government of India.

The programme was inaugurated and presided over by Prof. Ram Hari Meena, Dean, CTAE. In his inaugural address, he encouraged students to work towards innovation and showcase their entrepreneurial abilities to contribute meaningfully to the field of technology and development.

The event coordinator, Prof. Vikramaditya Dave, informed that the technical session was chaired by BITS Pilani faculty members — Dr. Deepak Chitkara, Mr. Rajneesh, and Ms. Anchal Verma. The session included detailed discussions on the development of innovative prototype models and provided valuable insights into Intellectual Property Rights (IPR).

Special emphasis was placed on highlighting Indian innovations, and to further engage students, a quiz competition on innovation and technology was also organised. Students participated enthusiastically, and winners were awarded prizes for their performance.

Prof. Dave added that around 200 students took part in the boot camp. The programme concluded with a vote of thanks delivered by Prof. Vikramaditya Dave. Faculty members and staff of CTAE were also present on the occasion.
