Udaipur. The Swadeshi Sankalp Program was organized at Maharana Pratap University of Agriculture and Technology, Udaipur, under the theme “Vande Mataram 150 and Swadeshi Resolution.” The event was held under the guidance of Vice Chancellor Prof. (Dr.) Pratap Singh, with the participation of Registrar Ashok Kumar, Finance Controller Darshana Gupta, and other officers and staff members of the administrative department.
During the program, all participants collectively took a pledge to promote and adopt indigenous products in their daily lives. They resolved to honor and serve the nation by prioritizing Indian-made goods, replacing imported items with local alternatives, supporting farmers, artisans, and rural industries, encouraging youth and children to adopt Swadeshi, using Indian languages in family and social life, and choosing eco-friendly, nature-based products.
Vice Chancellor Prof. (Dr.) Pratap Singh stated that the Swadeshi Sankalp Program is a significant initiative aimed at strengthening the concept of Atmanirbhar Bharat (Self-Reliant India). He emphasized that such programs raise awareness about the importance and benefits of using indigenous products, which in turn contribute to strengthening the national economy and creating employment opportunities.
