Udaipur : The Rovers of the Scout Unit at Maharana Pratap University of Agriculture and Technology were today flagged off by Dr. Manoj Kumar Mahla, Head of Rajasthan College of Agriculture, for the Uday Niwas Scout Training Centre.

University Scout Group Leader Dr. Dharmpal Singh Dudi and Shalini Pilania informed that a total of 25 students from the B.Sc. (Agriculture) first and second year will participate in various training camps at the Uday Niwas Scout Training Centre from 21 to 25 February 2026.

Under the program, 12 first-year B.Sc. (Agriculture) Rovers will take part in the Skill Training Camp, while 12 second-year Rovers will participate in the Skill Testing Camp to demonstrate their proficiency. Additionally, 1 Rover will attend the State Award Training Camp.

The objective of these training camps is to foster leadership skills, discipline, teamwork, a spirit of service, and overall personality development among the students. During the camp, participants will undergo various Scout-Rover activities, practical training sessions, and evaluation processes.

The university administration extended best wishes to all participants for a successful and fruitful training experience.
