Alumni revisit their school after years, relive cherished memories and express gratitude to their teachers

Udaipur: Teachers’ Day at St. Paul’s School became a deeply emotional and memorable occasion as former students returned to their alma mater to meet their teachers. After several years, walking through the familiar school premises and reconnecting with their teachers brought back a flood of cherished memories of their student days.

The school had invited its former students to mark Teachers’ Day and reconnect with the teachers who had played an important role in shaping their lives. Rahul Badala, Chand Chawat and Mohit Joshi visited the school and interacted with their teachers, sharing memories of their school days, classroom experiences and the lessons they had carried with them into their professional and personal lives.

The alumni expressed their heartfelt gratitude to their teachers, acknowledging that the guidance, values and encouragement they received during their formative years had played a significant role in their subsequent journeys. The teachers, in turn, expressed happiness and pride at seeing their former students achieve success in their respective fields and wished them continued success in the future.

Rahul Badala: Making a Mark in the Field of Education

Former student Rahul Badala is the Director of the reputed Badala Classes in Udaipur. He has been associated with the education sector for more than two decades and has guided approximately 85,000 CA and CS students so far.

Under his guidance, 158 of his students have secured ranks at the national level. During his interaction with his former teachers, Rahul Badala recalled his school days and shared how the guidance and encouragement of his teachers had influenced his outlook and professional journey.

He expressed his gratitude towards his teachers, saying that the role of a teacher goes far beyond academics. The values, discipline, confidence and direction imparted by teachers continue to influence students throughout their lives.

Chand Chawat: An International Sporting Journey

Former student Chand Chawat has established a distinct identity in the field of sports. He is an international-level badminton player and sports entrepreneur. He is the Founder and Head Coach of Chawat Sports Academy, where he works to identify and nurture young sporting talent in Udaipur.

He is also serving as the Joint Secretary of the Udaipur Badminton Association. During his visit to the school, Chand Chawat reminisced about his student days and shared several memories with his former teachers.

He acknowledged the encouragement received during his school years and said that the confidence and discipline developed during those formative years had remained valuable throughout his sporting journey.

Mohit Joshi: From Ultra Running to Mountaineering

Former student Mohit Joshi has made a name for himself in ultra running, ultra cycling and mountaineering. He has completed the 50-kilometre Fort Ultra Run from Udaipur City Palace to Haldighati and has also undertaken a journey to Everest Base Camp.

He is actively involved in various marathon events as a pacer and mentor, helping and motivating fellow runners to achieve their goals. During his visit to St. Paul’s School, Mohit Joshi too recalled his school days and shared fond memories with his teachers.

A Heartwarming Celebration of the Teacher-Student Bond

The Teachers’ Day meeting became much more than a formal alumni visit. It turned into a heartfelt celebration of the enduring bond between teachers and their students.

For the former students, returning to their old school provided an opportunity to revisit the memories of their childhood and formative years. For the teachers, seeing their former students achieve success in different fields was a moment of immense pride and satisfaction.
