Udaipur, : A grand orientation programme was organised at Pacific College of Physiotherapy, affiliated with Pacific Medical University, to welcome newly admitted students and mark the beginning of their academic journey.

The new students were given a warm traditional welcome with kumkum tilak and garlands, creating a festive atmosphere on the college campus.

The new academic session was formally inaugurated by Dr. M.M. Mangal, President, Pacific Medical University; Dr. U.S. Parihar, Principal and Controller, PMCH; Dr. R.K. Paliwal, Dean Research; and Dr. Zafar Khan, Dean, Pacific College of Physiotherapy, by lighting the ceremonial lamp before the idol of Goddess Saraswati. The college family extended a warm welcome to the newly admitted students and their parents and wished them success in their academic and professional journey.

Chairman Rahul Agrawal, Executive Director Aman Agrawal and CEO Sharad Kothari also conveyed their best wishes to the new students and wished them a bright future.

Addressing the students, Dr. M.M. Mangal highlighted the growing importance of physiotherapy in the healthcare sector. He said that discipline, hard work and a spirit of service are the real keys to success in the medical profession.

He encouraged students not to restrict themselves to classroom and textbook knowledge, but to give equal importance to practical and clinical training. He said this approach would enable them to develop the skills required to serve society and humanity more effectively.

During the orientation programme, Dr. Zafar Khan, Dean, Pacific College of Physiotherapy, briefed the students and parents about the college's academic activities, infrastructure, modern laboratories and hospital-based clinical training facilities.

He said the institution is committed to developing skilled, competent and ethically responsible physiotherapy professionals. He assured the students that they would receive a high-quality academic environment along with continuous guidance from experienced faculty members.

At the conclusion of the programme, students and their parents visited the college campus and interacted with faculty members to understand the institution's teaching methodology and academic facilities.
