The Indo-German film ‘The Bombay Blood’ is set to achieve a significant international milestone with a special screening at the Indian Embassy in Berlin on September 11.

Produced under the banners of Era of Light Films, Rangneel Creations, Commutador Junkies Productions and Pjak Pictures Filmproduktion, the film is produced by Neil Kothari, Gaurav Rishikesh Thakur and Daniel E. Pjak.

Written, directed and edited by Gaurav Rishikesh Thakur, The Bombay Blood brings together filmmakers and actors from India and Germany to present a genre-driven story rooted in a distinctive Indian cultural identity while unfolding against an international backdrop.

The film is emerging as a pioneering cultural bridge between India and Germany, bringing together creative talent from both countries through a story that connects two contrasting worlds.

At the heart of The Bombay Blood is an Indian hero whose cultural identity is transported into a European setting, where he becomes part of a high-stakes global survival story. The film aims to combine Indian cultural elements with an international cinematic environment, giving the narrative a distinctive cross-cultural appeal.

The ensemble cast features German and Indian performers, including Dirk Bohling, Philipp Oliver Baumgarten, Katrin Engendoh, Sabine Urban, Gaurav Thakur, Kashyap Parulekar, Mithun Ramdharne and Kajal Raturi.

Following its successful premiere in Germany, The Bombay Blood is now preparing for its upcoming India chapter, bringing the collaborative project back to the country where its creative journey began.

Director Gaurav Thakur, along with key members of the German cast, will travel across Maharashtra and select cities for promotional engagements and public screenings. The India chapter is expected to further strengthen the film's India-Germany creative collaboration and introduce the project to audiences on its home turf.

With its special screening at the Indian Embassy in Berlin, The Bombay Blood takes another important step in its international journey, highlighting the possibilities of cross-border filmmaking and cultural collaboration.
