Jaipur, To emotionally connect the new generation of wealthy business families born in the country's major metros with the fragrant soil of their motherland, ancient cultural traditions, history, and family heritage, the Goenka community gathers every year on Bhadrapad Amavasya at their ancestral temple—Shree Beera Barjee Temple—in Fatehpur Shekhawati, Rajasthan, dedicated to their Kuldevi (ancestral deity), "Beera Barjee Dadi Ji." Organized under the aegis of Shree Shakti Goenka Trust, Kolkata, this annual festival titled "Goenka Sangam" takes place according to the Hindu calendar on Bhadrapad Amavasya.
