Udaipur,  Rajasthan Cabinet Minister Babulal Kharadi and Udaipur Rural MLA Phool Singh Meena chose to celebrate their birthdays with an act of service and Gau Seva on the auspicious occasion of Independence Day.

Both public representatives visited the Pashupati Kalyan Parishad Gaushala, where they offered a truckload of green fodder and jaggery to the cows. Their gesture reflected a commitment to social service and compassion towards animals.

According to Om Prakash Agrawal, president of the organisation, the two public representatives preferred to mark their birthdays in a simple manner by dedicating the occasion to Gau Seva. Those present also took a pledge to serve and protect cows.

On behalf of the organisation, Cabinet Minister Babulal Kharadi and MLA Phool Singh Meena were welcomed and felicitated with traditional turbans, shawls and uparnas. During the programme, organisation secretary Suman Bose and treasurer Ashwani Sharma briefed the guests about various welfare and service activities being undertaken by the gaushala.

The office-bearers also apprised the minister and MLA of the problems being faced in running the gaushala and requested their intervention for an early resolution.

Responding to the concerns, Minister Babulal Kharadi and MLA Phool Singh Meena assured the gaushala management of all possible assistance for resolving the issues and strengthening its operations.

The organisers said that linking a personal occasion such as a birthday with cow service and social welfare sends a positive message to society and can inspire more people to participate in community service.

The programme concluded with a vote of thanks proposed by gaushala secretary Suman Bose, who expressed gratitude to all the guests and participants for their presence and support.
